Llanelli FC’s problems are again in the spotlight because the west Wales club faces a second winding-up petition this season later this month. The first petition was heard on 3 September 2012 and was dismissed as the debt had been settled by the club.
A petition to wind up the club has been presented by the Commissioners for HM Revenue and Customs and is due to be heard at the Royal Courts of Justice in London on November 19.
Club chairman Nitin Parekh settled an outstanding tax bill in August to stave off another winding-up petition from HMRC.
