Scaffolding Firm Avoids Winding Up Order

NTS Scaffolding & Access, a scaffolding firm in Wickford, faced the possibility of being wound up in court yesterday.

NTS Avoids Being Wound Up

It was reported that the scaffolding company avoided being wound up after clearing a debt just hours before it was due in court.

NTS Scaffolding & Access, whose head office is in Wickford, was facing a winding up petition at Southend County Court over an undisclosed sum owed to business insurance company Premium Credit.

However, the court heard the firm’s bank had agreed to clear the debt just in time to avoid the possibility of being wound up.

NTS, which would have been liquidated if the court action was successful, supplies scaffolding to clients including social housing developers and National Grid.
