Kettering Town Football Club Management Ltd appeared in Court 26 before Mr Registrar Nicholls today to be heard on a winding-up petition issued by HMRC over unpaid taxes. It transpired that  Kettering FC had made a substantial payment to HMRC towards the petition debt. Counsel for the Club and counsel for HMRC both sought an adjournment of 56 days to 2 April 2011 in order to settle the balance of monies owed to the Revenue.
