Bolton based Luxury car dealership, SK Performance Cars, has closed its doors after decision from a High Court judge to wind up the firm earlier this month. A number of high performance and luxury vehicles have been seized in order to recover unpaid debt due to creditors.
Firm Closed after Winding-up Petition Served
Financial issues at the company became apparent after the appointment of a provisional liquidator, Critchleys, at the end of October was approved. The company was wound up and the official receiver in Manchester was appointed liquidator following the hearing at Leeds High Court on 8 December. The CVA was being prepared on behalf of the firm’s director by Doncaster based insolvency practitioners Absolute Recovery. It subsequently emerged that a reported £800,000 is owed to creditors.
