Neath Football Club Ltd petitioned by Barclays Bank plc

Neath Football Club Ltd’s petition was heard today in the Companies Court. The club fought off the winding-up petition maintained by Barclays Bank plc because the legal paperwork in front of Registrar Barber was not in order.

The Registrar adjourned the case for 14 days until May 28 in order to allow Barclays Bank to provide evidence it has complied with the Insolvency Rules.

Barclays Bank took over the Petition from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs in March.
