A Winding-up Petition presented by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to the London High Court (Companies Court) against Bury FC has reportedly been dismissed after an out-of-court settlement.
HMRC Winding-up Petition Dismissed
The winding-up petition was reportedly dismissed by Judge Sally Barber last week in the Companies Court, London.
Bury FC faced a winding-up petition brought by HMRC over reported debts. The debts have now been settled with HMRC. However, reportedly two companies are still owed around £27,000 by Bury FC. A Hearing has been scheduled for 13 March for the petition to be heard.
