A well-established football club, Notts County, have reportedly been issued a winding – up petition by HMRC. As a result of failing to pay their debts to HMRC.

Notts County FC face a winding-up petition after reportedly owing debts to HMRC in the sum of £200,000. A Court date is scheduled for 10 April 2019 for the petition to be heard.
Notts County FC offered a payment plan to HMRC to clear the outstanding debt. However HMRC ignored the offer and listed a winding-up petition against Notts County FC to recover the debts owed. The club offered a payment plan which suggested starting on 21 February 2019 to pay the debt over a four week period.
Despite a winding-up petition being issued against Notts County FC, supporters are still assured that the matter will settle in good time.
