# Llanelli FC confident of beating HMRC Winding-up Petition

LLANELLI FC faces winding-up legal action from HMRC. However the club says they are confident the dispute will soon be resolved and will not affect the club's future.

A hearing is due to take place at the Royal Courts of Justice on September 3 and it is understood that the Chairman of the club intends to resolve the matter which would suggest paying the debt in full or raising a dispute via fresh returns or tax appeals.

Last season, Neath AFC faced two winding-up petitions, the second of which proved fatal as the club was wound up.
