## Petition Dismissed

The petition was [reportedly](https://web.archive.org/web/20200805202314/https://www.itv.com/news/anglia/update/2017-01-23/southend-winding-up-order-dismissed-after-debt-is-cleared/) dismissed at a hearing in London on Monday 23 January 2017 by Registrar Nicholas Briggs.

A lawyer representing HMRC confirmed that the outstanding tax debt had been paid. The amount of the debt remains undisclosed.
