HMRC Winding-up Petition Dismissed

The winding-up petition was reportedly dismissed by Miss Registrar Derrett on 24 May 2017  in the Companies Court, London.

Notts County FC faced a winding-up petition brought by HMRC over reported debts of £500,000 which has now been settled.

Once the outstanding debt to HMRC had been paid by the club, Pinnacle Advantage Ltd stepped in as a substitute creditor; pursuing the club for debts of over £600,000.

Simon Johnson, who was appearing for Pinnacle, told the Registrar:

“A dramatic compromise has just been signed outside court”.

The Registrar then confirmed that the petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.
